11 Ways To Increase Clickbank Affiliate Sales

How to increase Clickbank sales is a common question affiliates ask.  Unfortunately probably 99% of people who sign up to sell Clickbank products probably never even sell one item. 

I have been promoting and creating Clickbank products for almost 5 years now, and I think I have pretty much seen it all.   

Below are 11 tips you must follow if you want to have success.  Most people think there is a secret formula for massive Clickbank income but there isn’t one.  

If there is a secret, it would be to build a list of your very own.  To that end, here are the tips you should follow in order to create a nice little side income for yourself.

1.  Work Harder

Many people, including yourself, already know the answer to making more Clickbank sales.

The answer is to work harder!  It is not the answer you want to hear, but it is true.  You just can’t just submit one article to Ezine articles or set up a Wordpress blog and then proceed to check your stats every 5 minutes. 
 
Making money on the internet is not different then clocking in at your regular 9 to 5 job. 
 

2.  Sell Products That Sell

Many people choose to promote Clickbank products that match their interests.  This is fine, but in order to get a lot of sales, you need to promote what is selling (i.e. high gravity).   

You might love to talk about knitting or cat behavior problems, but most people who buy products from Clickbank are more interested in making money from online surveys.

3.  Test Affiliate Links

If you have been selling Clickbank products for a while you, you probably blew off this point, but don’t.   
 
It only takes a few seconds to test your links so do it.  You work hard promoting these items, so make sure you credit for it. 

4.  Become Smarter

Take some time every week to cruise the forums and see if there are any new promotion techniques you should be trying.  Many of us get comfortable, and only use a few different promotional methods.  Take the time to try some new ones. 

5.  Go For the Subscriber First

A beginner affiliate mistake is to go for the sale first and send people directly to a sales page.  Don’t make this mistake.  Go for the subscriber’s email address first. 

6.  Promote More Products

Most people promote one product and expect to earn $300 dollars a day.  Pick three products and promote those.  Then see which one sells the most and drop the other two. 
 
Then, pick two new products to test and go from there.  Just because a product has a high gravity, does not necessarily mean it will convert better for you. 

7.  Create More Content

Content is King!  If you are not creating content you are in a losing game.  Creating content is a pain in the butt sometimes, but it has to be done.   

8.  Market Harder

Instead of just writing one article for distribution, try and write two.  Instead of only creating a Squidoo lens, also create a Hubpage. 

You have to be able to be one step ahead of your competitors, who are lazy!

9.  Test and Track

If you get nothing else out of this, take the time to track what you are doing and what kind of results they are getting.  This step alone will help to increase Clickbank sales. 
 

10.  Spy On Others

Lurk around Ezine articles and see what types of articles are being written and see what their resource box looks like.  See what kind of landing page they are using and if they are doing anything better then you are.   

If they do have a leg up on you, copy what they are doing. 
 

11. Focus, Focus, Focus

Its easy for beginning marketers to keep skipping around to the next big thing, but don’t.  The great thing about being a Clickbank affiliate is that you have access to over 10,000 products to promote. 

One you master how to sell a Clickbank product you can essentially expand that to other products as well, and grow your Clickbank sales.
